Conclusion:

1.What are the overall strengths of your group's design? Why should your group's design be selected? What specific elements of your design will benefit the students at the MPUSD adult school? 

Our overall​ strengths of our groups design is that keeps a very simple and clean theme. Our design should be selected because it expresses the inner child's will to explore space. Our open design allows for tons of space for students to express their creativity and draw what they desire. The simple design of the planets, stars and spaceships are great for coloring in with any color the student chooses. The design also includes a tic tac toe game and maze where students can work together and have fun.

2. Explain the steps and importance of creating a materials quote for a client? 

The importance of a material quote is that it shows the costs and materials needed to start and finish the project. It gives insight on how much the client will need to budget for. First we started out filling the known information we have such as billing and shipping address, email and group name. Then we listed all of the items we need, such as the paint and brush. We went to our supplier and searched for the items and its prices. We finally listed them on a google sheet where it can be exported and printed.

 

3. What is one major “real world” takeaway you have from completing this project? How might this help you in the future either personally or professionally?

One real world take way I saw was how we needed to understand that the work completed digitally will translate to the real world. We needed to understand perspective from the digital image to the wall. This might help me in the future because it showed me how I have to think creativity and imagine how something I created in mind needs to be replicated on the screen and in the real world.
