Cultural Documentary

Conclusion    Questions:

1. To start off, I started looking for images and videos of quesadillas to get general footage. Then I recorded my own footage of how the quesadilla is made. I also had made a storyboard to keep everything organized. Then I imported everything into Premiere Pro, and started putting the footage into the timeline. I recorded my voiceover to match what I was showing. Now I start editing because I use my voiceover to set everything up. I add effects such as transitions to both the visuals and audio to make transitions less jarring. Now my cultural documentary is all done!

2. The quesadilla represents a deep part of my family's Mexican roots. Personally, I grew up eating quesadillas, which makes it a large part of my childhood, and I love eating them! Quesadillas are so simple yet they're perfect as a snack or even lunch and dinner.

3. Based on the learning target, "Create a culture documentary that celebrates diversity by researching your family history and completing a family roots tree OR researching the origins of a cultural recipe or tradition by using personal knowledge, interviewing family, and/or utilizing the internet.  Then use Adobe Premiere Pro to combine audio and video clips into a final video production" I believe that I exceeded because I incorporated many aftereffects to make transitions smoother as well as having a clear and concise format which makes it easier for everyone to follow along with my quesadilla recipe.
